Hull Advisory Board defers vote on proposal to curtail Town Manager power over light plant. Resident Leslie Taylor presented Article 40, a charter amendment petition to remove the Town Manager's authority over the Municipal Light Plant and restore the Municipal Light Board's statutory management role; the board voted 6-1 to continue discussion rather than vote on a recommendation. In related action, the board voted unanimously against Article 41, Jake Vaillancourt's proposal to establish legal review of citizen petitions, citing concerns about costs and town conflicts.
The board recommended favorable action on the general municipal budget, showing light plant revenues of $12,510,600 against expenses of $12,506,871.
