Hull Board of Health approved prior minutes and reviewed the May 2026 Wellness Fair. Director Rachel Gerold reported that beach water testing began the previous week and that a new seaweed removal strategy is under development, noting that Piping Plover habitats constrain cleanup options. Gerold said a proposed state-approved beach management plan would allow weekly cleanups and post-storm removal.
She also reported successful compliance responses from property owners to housing violation letters and highlighted growing success of public health initiatives including skin check and mammogram vans. Board member Sarah Chorney requested review of kratom regulations at the next meeting, scheduled for August 27.
