Community Preservation Committee · Meeting of June 1, 2026
Hull Community Preservation Committee approved invoices totaling $2,618.34 and held its annual public forum at the Lifesaving Museum on June 1. Chair Tammy Best presented the Community Preservation Act program and announced FY2027 application deadlines of September 30 and October 29, with preliminary and final submissions required. The Committee noted it maintains approximately $800,000 for next year's projects and is pursuing a conservative funding approach; it also announced that nine-year member Jim Ianiri resigned, creating one vacant at-large seat.
During public comment, residents sought guidance on project eligibility, with the Committee clarifying that water recreation, ongoing maintenance, and non-historic indoor facilities do not qualify for CPA funding.
