CPC reviews five major preservation project requests

HULL — CPC hears five preservation grant proposals totaling nearly $920,000. The Community Preservation Committee reviewed presentations January 12 on five projects, including a $670,000 Village Park upgrade by Chris DiIorio, a $15,510 Council of Aging outdoor space by Lisa Thornton, and Paragon Carousel and Lifesaving Museum projects ranging from $26,825 to $150,000. CPC Chair Tammy Best noted the committee has approximately $700,000 available annually with a $100,000 reserve buffer.
The committee unanimously approved returning $17,086.06 to the CPA general fund from completed projects.
