Design Review Board finds Point project unready for approval

Design Review Board · Meeting of May 13, 2026

Hull Design Review Board declares Point development unready for approval. Board Chair Julia Parker and members Tom Burns, Marie Rockett, and Don Ritz conducted the third formal review of the 839-845 Nantasket Avenue proposal, citing consultant John Chissa's latest memorandum. The board identified numerous unresolved technical and design issues spanning code interpretation, traffic, public access, flood resiliency, and infrastructure feasibility.

Members indicated they would recommend to the Planning Board either require substantial revisions or deny the application in its current form.
