Design Review Board finds unresolved issues in revised Point plans

HULL — Design Review Board demands public access easement for Point project. The five-member board, with Don Ritz, Marie Rockett, Lisa French, Tom Burns, and Julia Parker present, found that revised plans for the nine-unit Point development fail to adequately address core concerns about building classification, density, massing, and design. A recorded public access easement is required to guarantee public use of the boardwalk, pavilion, dock, and boat ramp.
The board also identified unresolved questions about road status, flood elevation compliance, application documentation, site operations, and parking, and recommended that the applicant provide additional design refinement and code clarification before the board can support the project.
