HULL — Economic Development Committee pivots One-Stop for Growth grant toward visitor center. The committee, chaired by Susan Vermilya, voted unanimously to approve prior minutes and advanced a proposal to build Hull's first visitor center in 80 years, using grant funds restricted from marketing. Steven Greenberg proposed the capital-focused pivot, with a subcommittee set to revise the proposal for Select Board review on June 27.
The committee also discussed beach signage at $4,000 for a dozen signs, pursued marketing and branding campaign logo design with a fall launch target, reviewed commercial real estate opportunities, and elevated parking closure concerns to the Select Board, citing business and beach-access impacts.
