Hull's Community Preservation Committee returned $4,000 in grant funds and assigned liaisons for multiple preservation projects. The committee unanimously approved a motion by Treasurer Rachel Kelly to return the 2022 grant for North Nantasket beach signage after Parks and Recreation confirmed it had already funded the project. Construction continues on the fire station project despite foundation redesign work, with completion expected by spring.
The committee assigned liaisons to oversee the Paragon Carousel roof project, shade structure installations, historic preservation planning, and museum and boathouse coalition outreach. Upcoming CPC grant application deadlines are September 30 for preliminary applications and October 29 for finals, with no applications received yet.
