Hull Select Board approves modest extension to Tipsy Tuna entertainment hours. The board voted 3-1-0 to allow an additional 30 minutes beyond currently approved hours for live music, karaoke, and DJ entertainment at the Nantasket Avenue business, falling far short of the manager's request for entertainment until 1:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Member Susan Short Green and a resident from the nearby neighborhood raised concerns about noise and quality of life; the board committed to placing a noise ordinance on a future agenda.
In separate approvals, the board unanimously cleared H4247 parking violation fine legislation for advance to the Legislature and unanimously granted the Nantasket Beach Salt Water Club a one-day alcohol license for the Blessing of the Fleet on June 27.
