Hull Zoning By-Law Committee delays reorganization and approves appurtenance rule revision. Chair Bartley Kelly postponed the election of leadership posts until a vacant seat is filled and Select Board Representative Jason McCann is present. The five-member panel voted unanimously to remove discretionary design language from Section 410-5.1 governing roof appurtenances on nonconforming structures, a standard the Planning Board flagged as too subjective for residential projects without design review oversight.
The committee took no votes on the "515 rule" or other pending zoning matters but discussed Flexible Plan Development amendments, the Accessory Dwelling Unit bylaw, Nantasket Beach Overlay District massing and open space standards, and front setback requirements.
