Hull Planning Board investigates Building Commissioner's single-building determination for Nantasket Avenue project. The Board voted unanimously to pursue a second opinion on the zoning classification of the proposed nine-unit residential development at 839, 843, and 845 Nantasket Avenue after members including Vice Chair Abby Rose Klieman and member Chandelle Schulte expressed skepticism. Police Chief Dunn recommended a traffic study for the Fitzpatrick Way curve, and Design Review Board Chair Julia Parker flagged concerns about boardwalk design and density.

Applicant counsel said his client would not pay for outside review of the Building Commissioner's determination. The hearing continues May 14 at Hull High School; member Cindy Borges resigned, citing process failures and gaps in staff and consultant reports that rendered the Board ineffective.
