HULL — Planning Board continues Nantasket residential-development hearing amid design and access debate. The Point Nantasket Realty LLC submitted revised plans for nine townhouses and a public pavilion at 839, 845, and 843 Nantasket Avenue, eliminating a contested Fitzpatrick Way entrance and repositioning parking, but town consultant John Chessia flagged outstanding stormwater, utility, and site-ownership questions. Approximately 70 residents signed a petition opposing any direct access to narrow, one-way Cadish Avenue, citing pedestrian and cyclist safety.
The Board approved minutes from four prior meetings unanimously and revised Article 28 on the Town Warrant to limit building height to 40 feet and transfer certain permits from the Zoning Board of Appeals to the Planning Board. The hearing is continued to May 19, 2026, with intermediate meetings April 22 and May 14.
