HULL — Planning Board hears first public hearing on nine-unit waterfront development. Chair Jeanne Paquin and six board members heard from applicant The Point Nantasket Realty LLC on a proposal for cedar-shingled townhouses, public pavilion, and parking canopies at 839, 843, and 845 Nantasket Avenue. The 3.28-acre project includes 41 parking spaces, exceeding the zoning minimum, public beach walkway, and dock reconstruction.
Board member Abby Klieman requested an overlay of proposed traffic patterns against existing conditions and raised concerns about canopy heights obscuring view corridors. Board members voted unanimously to commission a traffic memo and schedule a site visit; the public hearing was suspended with a future date to be advertised.
