Select Board · Meeting of July 22, 2026

HULL — Select Board split 3-2 on directing Town Manager to separate municipal light plant facilities from a pending resilience grant application. Chair Brian S. McCarthy and Vice Chair Jerry Taverna led the motion to allow the Hull Municipal Light Board to pursue an independent $110,000 feasibility study of the Edgewater Road site, but Town Manager Jennifer Constable stated for the record that the Town Charter assigned grant authority to her office and she would seek legal guidance.

The board unanimously approved $412,193 in year-end transfers from the health insurance account, including funding for Police Department overtime tied to long-term absences and Fire Department staffing increases that allowed the town to respond to approximately 140 additional emergency calls without outside ambulance service.
