Select Board approves nine summer Community Service Officers and Saltwater Club renovation study

Hull Select Board unanimously approved nine Community Service Officers for summer 2026 and cleared the Nantasket Beach Salt Water Club to begin engineering and architectural work on a potential building renovation or replacement. Deputy Neil J. Reilly presented the nine CSO applicants, who will train in enforcement, first aid, and bicycle patrol to support full-time officers during the busy season and 250th Celebration events; the role serves as career-building experience for law enforcement candidates.
Town Administrator Jennifer Constable clarified that board approval was limited to allowing the Club to spend money on preliminary design work, with any final plans requiring separate board approval before construction. The board also unanimously approved the 2026 Seasonal Liquor License Certification, authorized the Capital Improvement Committee to request no-cost technical assistance from the Massachusetts Division of Local Services, and reached agreement on a three-year Town Manager contract extension through August 2029.
