Select Board approves North Nantasket Beach Management Plan, names Public Safety committee

Hull Select Board adopts beach management plan and names public safety committee. The board unanimously approved the 2026 North Nantasket Beach Management Plan, which consolidates coordination between town departments and state agencies for managing North Nantasket Beach across recreation, habitat protection, storm damage, and flood control. In competitive voting, the board appointed Nick Russo, Patrick McCarthy, Scott Warmington, and Donna Pursel as permanent members to the Public Safety Building Committee, with David Twombly and John Berkeley as voting alternates; Greg Grey will represent the Select Board on the committee.

The board also appointed Anthony May to the Zoning Board of Appeals permanent seat in a 3-1 vote and approved a Hull Pride race date change from May 2 to May 3; the warrant for the annual Town Meeting contains 44 articles and closes March 25.
