Hull Select Board approves note sale for four capital projects. The board unanimously backed financing for Nantasket Pier Dredging, Nantasket Avenue Seawall Replacement, Landfill Closure, and Village Fire Station construction, with Town Accountant Mike Buckley noting the dredging project, estimated at 1.4 million when authorized in 2022, has come in significantly lower and targets spring completion. In separate action, the board voted 4-0-1 to approve Hull Pride's Rainbow Run 5K road race for May 2, 2026, with Select Board member Jason McCann abstaining after presenting the proposal.
The Light Plant budget presentation forecast approximately 12 million dollars in 2026 revenues, with planned capital spending on facility renovation, transmission line improvements, and fleet vehicle replacement.
