Hull Select Board unanimously endorses "There's No Place Like Hull" tourism branding campaign
HULL — December 17, 2025 — Hull Select Board unanimously endorses "There's No Place Like Hull" tourism branding campaign targeting shoulder-season visitors. The board voted 5-0 Wednesday to back the campaign, developed over more than a year by a volunteer Integrated Marketing Task Force convened by the Economic Development Committee and Hull Chamber of Commerce. Pro bono consultant Aaron Swenson-Gorell presented the strategy, which targets wellness travelers, pet travelers, and heritage tourists and calls for a printed visitor's guide, a digital hub, and an influencer outreach effort reaching roughly 50 New England day-trip social media accounts. EDC Chair Susan Short Green estimated professional execution would cost approximately $80,000 for the first year. Vice Chair Jerry Taverna said he expected "some of the funding to come at some point from the town." The board also unanimously signed the declaration of trust for Hull's Affordable Housing Trust, a filing that formally activates the trust to accept donations and hold property for the first time.
