Planning Board · Meeting of September 23, 2026
Hull Planning Board votes to seek backup funding for its stalled master plan. With Chair Meghan Reilly traveling, Vice Chair Abby Rose Klieman led the board through a 5-0 vote directing a budget request to complete the master plan, a hedge against uncertainty over whether the Metropolitan Area Planning Council will revise a $90,000 draft report members said contained "numerous serious inaccuracies." Member Chandelle Schulte called the funding request "a safety net," while Nathan Peyton warned "any board with the title planning in it, asking for money without a plan is a really bad idea." The board also approved, 5-0, a transmittal letter to MAPC copying the Select Board but not the town manager, who chairs MAPC. For a second time, members rejected draft August meeting minutes over formatting problems and set an October 13 joint session with the Zoning Bylaw Committee.
