The Weir River Water System reported Oct. 25 that a gate valve split during a routine repair on Bay Street, cutting water service to Sagamore Hill streets for 6 to 8 hours while crews replace the valve near 106 Bay St.
The Town of Hull announced Oct. 6 that the state Department of Conservation and Recreation will hold online and in-person meetings to discuss early flood-resilience strategies for Nantasket Avenue and Hull Shore Drive, with public comments accepted through Nov. 30.
