Hull Historical Commission approves April minutes and reviews federal historic preservation law. Chair Dennis Riley announced his resignation to focus on personal matters. Clerk Mary Harrington distributed tutorial materials on Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act and Massachusetts General Law Chapter 9, clarifying that the Massachusetts Historical Commission must be contacted when the town receives federal or state funds for restoration of properties listed on MACRIS or the National Register.

Architect Don Ritz will assess the 1917 and 1919 Light Plant Buildings, both Mediterranean and Craftsman style structures, as part of ongoing research toward a National Register Determination of Eligibility.
