Hull Planning Board unanimously denies Nantasket Avenue nine-unit townhouse project

HULL — May 14, 2026 — Hull Planning Board votes 5-0 to deny Nantasket Avenue townhouse project. The board unanimously rejected a site plan review application from The Point Nantasket Realty LLC for a nine-unit, approximately 17,436-square-foot townhouse complex at 839, 843, and 845 Nantasket Avenue, citing insufficient, incomplete, and inconsistent information submitted over the course of a months-long review. The applicant, represented by attorney Adam Brodsky of DTM Law, did not attend the meeting, instead sending a letter requesting a single continuance to May 27 and asking the board not to "substantively address the pending application" in the firm's absence — a request board members declined to honor. The Hull Design Review Board had voted unanimously the night before to recommend denial, with DRB member Julia telling the Planning Board that "the design has taken steps backwards as opposed to actually responding to our comments." Chair Jean Paquin said she will work with Town Counsel Brian Winner to draft formal findings, with the applicant's failure to appear also noted in the decision.
