Hull Select Board names McCarthy chair, Taverna vice chair in post-election reorganization

HULL — May 27, 2026 — Hull Select Board reorganizes leadership and backs $60,000 welcome center grant. The board unanimously elevated Brian McCarthy to chair following the annual town election, while a more contested 3-2 vote appointed Jerry Taverna as vice chair over Greg Grey — with Grey telling Taverna he hoped the new role would prompt a change in his approach to social media before the vote.
