HULL — Select Board approves separate testimony on municipal light plant governance bill. The board voted unanimously to permit letters in support of and in opposition to House Bill 5654 to be submitted from the Select Board office on official letterhead, after Vice Chair Jerry Taverna and Clerk Susan Short Green disagreed with Greg Grey and Irwin Nesoff over including a joint minority statement questioning the bill's benefits and implementation. Taverna will sign the support letter; Nesoff will sign the opposition letter, both to be submitted through Town Manager Jennifer Constable.
