HULL — Select Board approves beach accessibility mats and waives permit fees for lobster trap tree. The board unanimously backed a $125,000 preliminary Community Preservation Act application to install coconut-fiber matting and seasonal accessibility mats at municipal beach access points between Phipps Street and XYZ Streets, supporting barrier-free access for seniors and residents with disabilities. Members also unanimously waived permit and inspection fees for continuation of the lobster trap holiday tree tradition at Mariners Park.

The board appointed Kathleen Wolf to the 100% Clean Energy Climate Action Committee and Jason McCann to the Community Preservation Committee, voted 3-2 to formally support the Hull Municipal Light Plant remaining at its existing location and pursuing plans for a new garage, and unanimously approved the early voting schedule for the November 3rd state election running October 17 through October 29.
